What's on the ToolBerry Roadmap, and How You Can Help Shape It
Our roadmap is a public page. Anyone can read it, and now you can vote on what we build next.

Our roadmap is a public page. Anyone can read it, and now you can vote on what we build next.
The ToolBerry roadmap lives at toolberry.net/roadmap. It shows what we already shipped, what we are building right now, and what is planned next. Every item is grouped by theme and tagged with the tier it belongs to. You do not need an account to read it, and you can upvote the items you want us to build first.
Here is how a request actually becomes a card on that page.
How does a request turn into something we build?
In a demo at the end of May, someone trying ToolBerry stopped us on a small thing. They could build a proposal and an invoice inside the app, but then they had to leave the app to send it. Could we just email it to the customer from ToolBerry?
We opened a ticket for it on 31 May 2026. It is not built yet. It is a card on the public roadmap called Email Proposals, Invoices & Reports, sitting in the Planned column.
One person asked once. You can go look at the card right now.
What is on the roadmap today?
In progress
- Custom Stages (Free). Customize the stages your jobs, proposals, and invoices move through to match how you work.
- Schedule Map & Planner (Free). Pick job sites on a map, see your scheduled work laid out geographically, plan the day's route, and dispatch jobs to your crew.
Planned next
- Bulk Editing (Free). Update many jobs, assets, or records at once instead of one by one.
- Data Import (Free). Bring your existing customers, jobs, and records into ToolBerry from spreadsheets and other tools.
- Email Proposals, Invoices & Reports (Pro). Send proposals, invoices, and service reports to your customers by email straight from the app.
That is the forward-looking half. The page also carries the work already done.
What have you actually shipped?
Sixteen items on the public roadmap are marked Shipped. Grouped roughly:
- Getting paid: Billing & Invoicing, Service Catalog, Signatures, Clients
- Time and money per job: Timesheets, Automatic Time Tracking, Job Costing & Profit Reports, Recurring Schedules
- On site: Field Essentials (photos and files, printable work orders and service reports, one-tap navigation, job reminders, phone contact import)
- Working as a team: Team Workspaces, Real-Time Team Sync, Roles & Permissions
- Setup and language: Setup & Customization, Multilingual Industry Templates, Spanish Language Support, Mobile & UI Refresh
If you are looking at a free app and wondering whether it will still be here next year, that list is the best answer we can give you. Not a promise, just a record.
How do we decide what gets built next?
Four things go into it.
1. Theme. Every item belongs to one of six areas: Team & Sync, Billing & Sales, Scheduling & Time, Field Work, Customization & Onboarding, and Platform. The public roadmap is grouped by theme, so you can go straight to the part that affects your work.
2. Urgency. Every item we have not built yet carries an internal urgency score, U0 through U4. We keep that one internal, so you will not see it on the public page.
3. Tier. Some things run on your phone alone. Some things need our servers to work at all. That split is what the tier badge on each card tells you. We go into the whole free and paid question in Free vs Pro: The ToolBerry Story.
4. What it depends on. Some items cannot start until another item lands first.
Cards on the page are epics, with the real development tickets linked underneath. The progress bar on in-progress items is not typed by hand. It comes from how many of those tickets are done.
Do other field service apps do this too?
Yes, and it is worth saying so plainly. Housecall Pro publishes a product roadmap where you can see what is being built, send feedback, and vote on features. ServiceTitan runs an Ideas board in its community, where you can post a feature request and upvote other people's, and each upvote is worth 10 points toward whether their product team looks at it. Both are real systems, run by teams who take feedback seriously.
So this is not something only we do. What we can say about ours is narrower: the app it describes is free, so nothing stands between reading the roadmap and having a say in it.
How can you actually change what we build?
Three ways.
- Vote on the roadmap. Open toolberry.net/roadmap and upvote the items you want first. This is the fastest signal to send us.
- Send feedback from inside the app. Go to Settings, then Help & Feedback. It works whether or not you are signed in.
- Email us. contact@toolberry.net. If something you need is not on the roadmap at all, this is the one to use.
The honest part: what voting will not do
We would rather set this expectation now than disappoint you later.
- Votes are input, not a queue. The most upvoted item does not automatically jump to the front. A small fix that unblocks a lot of people can still beat a bigger feature that fewer people asked for.
- We do not publish dates. Any date we put on a Planned item would be a guess, and you would be right to hold us to it. So we do not.
- Items get merged. Three items on our board have already been folded into bigger ones. We would rather merge than keep a stale card alive to look busy.
- Not everything we are working on is public. A card appears on the page when we are confident enough to talk about it. There is work in progress that has not made the page yet.
How to start
- Open toolberry.net/roadmap.
- Use the theme groups and the tier filter to find the part that affects your work.
- Upvote what you want built first.
- If what you need is not listed, email us or use Help & Feedback in the app.
You do not need to be a customer to do any of this.
Have a question?
Email us at contact@toolberry.net. ToolBerry is on the App Store and Google Play, or start at toolberry.net.
It is free and it works offline. Try it on your next job and see if it saves you time.
