ToolBerry Pro vs Jobber

Jobber is a mature, polished platform with a huge customer base, strong invoicing and payments, and a deep app marketplace. ToolBerry Pro is younger and narrower, and structurally different where a growing crew feels it: one price for the whole team, a local database on every device, and a language setting that follows the person instead of the phone.

Quick verdict

Jobber is the safer, more established choice, and its invoicing, payments and marketplace are genuinely deeper than ours. The two places it will cost you are headcount and language: every plan bills $29 per month for each user past the first, and Jobber's own documentation says Spanish is available to non-admins in the mobile app only, so promoting a Spanish-speaking lead to admin puts them back into English. ToolBerry Pro is one price per business regardless of crew size, and every person picks their own language across the whole product, office included.

The short version

Three differences a feature table can't show

Priced per business, not per seat

One price covers your whole crew. Hiring tech number 11 changes your schedule, not your software bill. Service Fusion is the one vendor here that does the same, and their page says so.

Offline everywhere, not just on the phone

Several of these products have real offline in their mobile app. What none of them has is the office: ToolBerry runs the same local database on desktop too, so a dropped connection at the shop is as harmless as a basement with no bars.

Free forever underneath, no trial clock

Not one of the six has a free tier. ToolBerry Free is a full product your crew can run real jobs on today, and Pro is the layer you add when the team features are worth paying for.

Where ToolBerry Pro is the better fit

Hiring stops being a software decision

Jobber charges $29 per month for every user past the first, on every plan (August 2026). Ten techs is roughly $261 a month in seats before the plan itself. ToolBerry Pro is one price for the business, so the eleventh hire changes your schedule and nothing else. You also never have to decide which crew members are worth a seat.

Spanish that does not stop at the office door

Jobber's own FAQ is unusually clear about this: Spanish is available to non-admins, in the mobile app. Their stated reason is that admin features are not translated. So your Spanish-speaking crew lead works in Spanish until you promote them. In ToolBerry every person sets their own language and gets the whole product in it, on the phone and in the office.

The office is offline-capable too

Jobber's offline support lives in the mobile app, and reports and up-to-date team data still need a connection. ToolBerry runs the same real database on every device, phone and desktop alike, so a dropped connection at the shop is as harmless as a basement with no bars.

Where Jobber is stronger

Credit where it is due, and this is not a short list. Jobber's invoicing and payments are mature and proven at a scale we have not reached, including consumer financing options we do not offer at all. Its app marketplace and accounting integrations are far deeper than our handful. It has years of polish, a large support organization, and a track record you can check with people in your own trade. If integrations and payment depth are what decide this for you, Jobber is the stronger product today and you should pick it.

The honest test is your own jobs.

Choose ToolBerry Pro if…

  • Per-seat pricing is taxing your growth and you plan to keep hiring.
  • Your team runs in more than one language, and your office staff do too.
  • Your crews work where signal dies, and your shop's connection is not perfect either.
  • You want the people building your tool to answer the phone.

Choose Jobber if…

  • Mature invoicing, payments and consumer financing are your top priority today.
  • You depend on a broad integration marketplace right now.
  • You want the most established option, with the longest track record in your trade.

Whichever way you go: your crew already knows ToolBerry if they've used the free app, going Pro is a login, not a migration. And the pilot guarantee covers your exit costs if we're wrong for you.

Pricing, plainly

ToolBerry Pro

ToolBerry Pro is priced per business, not per seat. Adding crew never raises the bill. The number depends on your size and needs, and we will send you a straight answer within one business day. Underneath it, ToolBerry Free stays free forever for anyone who does not need the team features.

Jobber

Jobber publishes its prices, which we respect. Core is $49/mo, or $21/mo billed annually, for one user. Connect is $139/$70 and Grow is $199/$105, both for one user. Plus is $499/$280 and includes five. Every plan charges $29/mo for each additional user, and Enterprise is quote-only. There is a 14-day trial and no free tier (getjobber.com/pricing, read August 2026).

Prices change. Check their pricing page for the current numbers before you decide.

Switching from Jobber

Run both for a few weeks. Keep Jobber live while your crew works real jobs in ToolBerry, and compare on your own sites and your own dead zones rather than on a feature table. If your crew has used the free ToolBerry app, going Pro is a login rather than a migration, and there is nothing new to learn. Your data stays exportable the whole time, so leaving us later is as easy as arriving.
